Pastor Clark was born in Detroit, Michigan. He does not come from a long line of Christians or Christian pastors; his family began to attend church when he was about 11. His pastor recruited him for the pastoral ministry on the day of his confirmation. He is married (Bonnie) with one married adult daughter.
Pastor Clark has been privileged to serve as a mission pastor in Austin, Texas and White Rock, New Mexico. In August 1991, his family moved to Glendale when the Lord moved him to accept the call to Grace.
While here at Grace, he has served in various capacities for the church-at-large including chairman of the District Adult Discipleship Board. At present, he serves as First Vice President of the AZ-CA District.
He has a passion for teaching the Bible to both children and adults whether they are long-time Christians or Seekers hearing about Jesus for the first time.
It is his greatest joy to center all that we do – from our worship to our personal interactions – around the good news that Jesus has paid for our failures and accepts us as His own dear child through what he has done; in other words, around God’s grace.
Therefore I glory in Christ Jesus in my service to God. I will not venture to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished.
