Parent Teacher Organization

Our Mission Statement:  The PTO is dedicated to facilitate communication between families, faculty and staff at Grace Lutheran School and “…prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up… speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ.”

Objectives: 

  • To be an advocate between all parents of all grades and faculty and provide school wide communication.  For example: Assist teacher in addressing parents of an upcoming event or idea they would like to implement. This would be a forum to communicate that need or event.
  • Inform parents of school activities and be available for assistance.  For example: Schedule playground yard maintenance, assist with Fall Festival Baskets, assist with Open House, assist with Spirit Week. All events/activities will be open and decided by both parents and faculty at the PTO.
  • Support Teachers by providing assistance and resources when needed.  For example: Organize Teacher Appreciation Week, acknowledge Teacher Birthdays, acknowledge years of Ministry, vacuum classrooms, help prepare projects by holding classroom project work nights.
