NEW! Lesson Plans
I have grown up in our Lutheran School system. From Kindergarten through College, I have been able to be trained by a number of strong and dedicated Christians. The experience I had in my schooling help to lead me to where I am today. I remember in early grade school thinking about what I wanted to do when I was older. After watching my Christian teachers live their faith and be surrounded by God’s Word on a daily basis that it was a no-brainer. That’s what I want to do! And here I am. I am a Christian teacher with the goal of leading children on a daily basis in the same way I was led as a child, by God and His Word.
I came to Grace for the 2006-2007 school year after teaching in Colorado Springs for seven years and serving as the principal there. It is my privilege to serve at Grace Lutheran School as principal and teach a little everyday. This past school year, I was able to teach 7th grade in the morning and will be teaching every morning in the 07-08 school year as well. It is my joy to be able to help lead children every day to their Savior’s feet and help them to let their lights shine in everything that they do!
Grace is such a wonderful place to serve. My colleagues are filled with experience and are the truest meaning of dedicated servants. Our congregation is dedicated to our school and joyfully supports the faculty in continued education. And I am always in awe of the special responsibility that parents give to us here at Grace. To allow us to partner with them in bringing up their children is an awesome task and I pray that the Lord gives us the opportunity to assist even more parents in the future!
My prayer for us at Grace is that we do the Lord’s will and that he uses us as his faithful servants. I echo the words of the Psalmist who said, “May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us; establish the work of our hands for us— yes, establish the work of our hands.” (Psalm 90:17) |
