I was born on Oct. 15, 1965, in New Ulm, Minnesota. I attended St. Paul’s Lutheran grade school- K-8. In 1980, I attended Minnesota Valley Lutheran High school, which was located just outside of New Ulm. My freshman class was the first class to go through MVL’s newly constructed building. In 1984, I went to Dr. Martin Luther College, which is also located in New Ulm. I graduated college with a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a minor in Science. I received the call to come teach at Grace Lutheran School in 1988.
I got into teaching because I love kids and I love to watch them grow spiritually, as well as academically. I have been at Grace for 18 years now. Besides teaching the third grade, I also coach girls’ athletics and co-direct for drama.
Teaching here at Grace is such a blessing. We have an awesome, caring teaching staff that is dedicated to giving our children the best in academics. We also have the awesome privilege of teaching our children about Jesus. Watching the children grow in faith is tops!! We are so blessed to have supportive parents, volunteers, and great kids. God has certainly blessed our school!! |
