Grace Lutheran School - Mr. Paul Blakely - 6th Grade
Ever since I was a young child growing up in Buffalo, NY I had dreamt of living in the West. The Lord answered my prayer in 2002. I came to Grace, Glendale with 7 years experience and ready for a change. After 7 years of being involved with elementary education, junior high is where I found my niche. 13-14 year olds are what I love to teach. A lot of people feel this is a tough age, but I love the experiences these children bring and the ones I can give them. To me teaching is about relationships, not just teacher/student but also student/Lord. I love sports and I love teaching children and to have both is a blessing that goes beyond all comprehension. I stress the three E’s in my teaching- excitement, enthusiasm, and energy. I try to bring this everyday into my classroom. Grace has been a boost for me in my teaching ministry. I have been able to do things I was unable to accomplish before, including receiving my Masters Degree in January. The Lord has blessed me with this opportunity to improve my teaching so I can use all my talents all the more for the glory of the Kingdom here at Grace. Important Downloads
